Ever wondered what happens in a yoga class? Looking for yoga classes in Beckenham or live-streamed on Zoom? Check out my short film above to find out more. I’ve been teaching yoga since 2006 and it’s my passion to keep sharing this practice with our local community, even when times are super challenging.
Myth and Meditation
40 Days to Ground and Grow is the name of my new offering around meditation practices including mudra, mantra, pranayama, journaling and much more. I’m really excited about this offering as these are the practices that kickstarted my meditation practice back in 2014, and draw me back daily after a few years of dabbling with meditation. If you are interested in learning more about yoga off the mat and establishing a regular meditation practice, then this is for you – you can find out more here and book here.
Classes are back
Join us to Ground and Grow throughout May – slowly we are edging back into real life, but there will be Zoom options too.
From 19 May, I’ll be in the Old Library in the Mansion in Beckenham Place Park IN REAL LIFE, every Wednesday, and from 13 May Yoga for Children is back at St Marys at 8am every Thursday until the 15th July.
Would you love to get back on the mat, but are feeling unsure about zoom yoga? Read on for an insight into a zoom class with me.
Back on the Mat – IRL vs Zoom
I never thought I would take part in a virtual yoga class, but here we are in 2020… I really didn’t see how it would, or could, work, but I was pleasantly surprised when I did my first class – Claire was still her usual wonderful self: knowledgeable, interesting, caring, and able to see us all and help us make adjustments where needed; there was still time for connection with the other students at the beginning and end of the class. There was also something quite lovely about being able to practice yoga at home, especially as the nights got colder and darker!
In the future, I would happily plump for either option, and it opens up the opportunity to continue your practice with Claire when you can’t be there in person.
