Yoga for Children and Teens

It’s never too early to learn yoga. Children as young as 2 all the way up to 18 can benefit from yoga. I’ve had some great training and experience in teaching yoga to kids over the last 10 years,  and they never fail to amaze me.

Classes include a variety of tools and techniques to engage children in learning how to move, to breathe, to concentrate, to cultivate a positive attitude and, importantly, to relax. I incorporate yoga postures, games, peer massage, self massage, affirmations and visualisations to connect and have fun whilst learning how to relax.

Teenagers are under stress like never before and yoga is proven to help teens relax and to help them improve their grades too.  I love teaching teens in a variety of environments from schools to clubs so if you are interested in yoga in your school please contact me.

I teach regular Family Yoga workshops – about every 3 months or so. You can expect a workshop designed to enhance fun and flexibility in the family! Enjoy spending time together, partnerwork, familywork. and asana to get the whole family feeling bright and connected to each other. It’s the perfect way to introduce your child to yoga, or for your child to introduce you to yoga! The whole family can practice together – from babies to grandparents.
