How to Integrate Pregnant and Post Natal Students into Your Yoga Class
This 2 day course is aimed a existing 200hr+ Yoga teachers, or teachers in training, who wish to deepen their understanding of pregnancy and the post-natal period. This course will enable you to confidently and safely integrate these women into your general classes.
Saturday focuses on pregnancy, the physiological, emotional changes a women experiences during this time and we will teach you adaptations for sun salutations, asana, pranayama as well as some useful do’s and don’ts to support your students in this exciting time.
Sunday focuses on the post-natal period. While pregnancy gets all the limelight the post-natal period is the ‘cinderella’ of motherhood. The profound changes and challenges a new mum faces are often poorly understood or acknowledged. This day will give you a deeper understanding of these changes and you will learn skills how to effectively integrate a post-natal women into your class.
